This Policy document is a written commitment to continual improvement in Health and Safety, and Environmental Management throughout the Company. This will be achieved by formal commitment from Senior Management throughout all the working operations.
The Company shall:
Provide a safe working and environment for all employees, sub contractors and visitors.
Ensure all known risks are communicated clearly to all employees, sub contractors and visitors.
Meet as a minimum, all requirements of relevant legislation and introduce company standards where legislation does not exist.
Provide training and raise awareness, to all employees on the key issues of health and safety, and the environment.
Liaise with all relevant statutory bodies and third parties to ensure best practice in all aspects of work.
Consult with employees on all aspects of their working environment.
Meet and exceed the clients’/customers’ requirements. The Director will ensure that adequate finances and resources are made available for the policy to be implemented.
Adopt a sustainable approach to building design and construction.
Every employee under the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 will strive to maintain the highest standards of safety and to comply fully with the act and the provisions laid down in the Health, Safety and Environmental Plan.
Employees, visitors and contractors are to fully support this policy through their active participation and co-operation.
This policy will be displayed at all sites and distributed to clients, suppliers or any person, group or organisation. This policy will be annually reviewed.
